MILAN, Italy — 22 January 2026 — The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have brought their well-known Yellow Tent in Milan, offering a public, walk-up space for hands-on assistance and listening support, alongside everyday “Tools for Life” that can be applied to daily problems. More details are available here: Scientology Europe report.

Previously deployed in cities including New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents meet trained volunteers directly and learn straightforward methods for communication breakdowns, workplace stress and conflict resolution, as well as practical help during difficult moments.

Volunteer Ministers are local citizens trained through 19 introductory “Tools for Life” courses covering communication, study and learning methods, interpersonal relations and problem-solving. The approach is personal and practical: understand what the person faces and provide an actionable technique.

In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during major emergencies including L’Aquila (2009) and Emilia-Romagna (2012), and have news eureka ca also assisted during flooding in the Marche region (2022) and Romagna (2023), working alongside local institutions and civil protection actors to help remove mud and debris and restore access.

In Milan, activity expanded during the COVID-19 period with sanitisation efforts and support for families in need. Organisers say volunteers then continued with neighbourhood support, including over 160 consecutive Saturdays of community clean-up and support, extending across all nine municipalities of the city, while also contributing to solidarity efforts such as supporting aid shipments to Ukraine.

Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Across Europe, communities grow stronger when citizens are equipped to help each other in practical ways—calmly, respectfully and without prejudice. Their work reflects a civic principle: support starts with listening and providing tools that help people regain the ability to act and contribute.”
